OK - I assume you've figured out to pull the stem out (after unscrewing it) 1 notch to set the date and 2 notches (all the way) to set the time. Always make sure you screw the crown and the pushers back in, or moisture (even high humidity) can enter the watch - and that's not good.
To prevent stripping or cross-threading the crown and pusher tubes, press the crown in and turn a bit counter-clockwise (like unscrewing the crown) while pushing. You should hear and feel a faint click at some point. That is the threads lining up. Then screw in as normal. Don't over-tighten. Snug is fine.
As for the chronograph feature, the top button starts and stops it. The bottum pusher resets it. Do NOT reset unless you've stopped it first.
Run it a little if you must just to see that it runs. Stop it and reset and make sure it all resets to the top. Screw the pusher crowns in and NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! Unless you have a vintage hand-wind made by SpinMaster or someone else reliable, then you are running the A7750 movement which is dodgy at times. Leave it alone.
As for setting the date, on any automatic or hand-wind (mechanical) watch, you should never change the date manually between 10pm and 3am. This is the time period when all watches run through their date change cycle (which is longer than the few seconds it takes to actually flip the number) and setting it by hand can damage the gears. Always move the time to, say, 6:00 then set the date and then reset the time. If you are doing this between 10pm and 3am, be sure to only move the time setting FORWARD (in other words, don't move the time to 6am, set the date, then back it up to 1am).
Last but not least, you indeed have no watch and are nothing but a low-life liar until we see PICS!!!
Enjoy your watch!
