Hello and WELCOME to RWI from the official reception desk!

You are receiving this reply because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or one of your first posts elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the above mentioned section.

If you haven't already, make sure to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections). They contain important essential information and our forum rules! Most importantly our sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Also, take a look at this sticky thread:

And this one:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We love to help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

First of all, I wish everyone a happy new year. I have always been interested in mechanical relationships and the Swiss watch industry is one of these pioneering spirits. I ordered a VSF Rolex Datejust 41mm two days ago and look forward to learning from your wealth of experience. Open communication and exchange of knowledge are of great importance to me. I would like to post the following questions in the round.

What is the accuracy of the VSF3235 movements. What are your experiences with this?
How is the general quality to be judged?
Which factories are your favourites and why?

After I receive my rep. watch, I will report my personal experience, but it will only be sent in for revision.

I am already looking forward to your exchange of views.

Hello mate,
My 41mm submariner with VSF 3235 has been running silky smooth since I got it last year, unserviced, although it does tend to run faster than it should. I believe the time runs about 5 minutes too fast every month. I just reset the time back every month so it's not a big hassle + it forces me to interact more with the watch which I like doing.

Hi Mate
I personally use CF for nearly all my builds as I find them pretty easy for most OEM swap overs with minimal adjustments
When you get the watch, you can always get a watch maker to put the movement on a timegrapher
Did you get any QC readings of the movement from the seller before it was shipped?

Thank you for your reply. My seller was really trustworthy and I received my watch within 10 days. I have currently sent it to a watchmaker to have it serviced, and as soon as I have it back I will be happy to give you feedback. He sent me QC pictures, however I assume he only measured it in one position whereas a professional watchmaker does it in 7 different positions.

Keep in mind as well that they are reps and not genuine, in saying that though even Gen BNIB they still very rarely keep dead perfect time
