Rolex Air king 116900 BP or JF?

LaPavel would you say the BP Version is close to gen? Or would you guys prefer to wait for the next batch?

I had one BP and bracelet was poor with sharp edges, clasp was too without gen click. Lumi on dial and hands was bad. BP looks better but it dont have gen feel like ARF reps.
Air king isnt everyday watch. it feels heavy...

Get the BP and order a JF bracelet in addition. That is the best version available.

A few month ago I got my JF and I‘m absolute happy with this watch. See my previous post for details. So I decided to buy a 2nd Airking for my wife and this time I ordered an Airking from BP . Both watches JF & BP are really excellent in my opinion...I do not know, which one is better... see attached pics and you know what I mean.

serioussome2017 thanks for the side by side by side, might go with the jf since the dial differences are hardly noticable in a side by side pic and no ones compairing mine side by side the a gen plus everyones saying the jf just "feels" better

Welcome back on my thread. I saw new release from BP with more stable aEta movement. It looks like same as Sa version but with more stable movement.

Hi all, hoping someone has info on the 'GMF' (Thanks Oris!) Rolex Air King 116900 that was listed on TSwatch fairly recently. Having read this thread I was leaning towards the BP due to the slight issues on the JF dial, but I was wondering if anyone has any insight/experience with the GMF.

Slighty more expensive however I was hoping there's a justifaction for this that would make it worthwhile over the others.

I really like the Air King and I think JF made a damn good replica - if it wouldn't have that dial...

BUT could it be, that JF updated the dial? I'm new to the Rep Game and don't know how often something like this happens.
At least stanleycarling 's JF which he sold to Kleinerzauberer seems to have a really well done dial...

What is the best available version of this Air-King watch? In the NWBIG list, appears the GM version. For some other people, however, the BP version seems to be recommended. However, in TDs like Puretime or Intime, only the Noob and JF versions are available. Which is the best option?

BP and GMF are partner factories. Their Air Kings are identical except for 316L vs 904L and GMF is only available with a 3131 clone movement. Both have a more accurate numeral three than Noob or JF, although that wasn't an important factor for me, lol.

JF /ARF /Noob numeral 3 is too curvy on the right side. Instant tell if you know to look for it. But people haven't noticed my Double Nines so a flawed 3 should be fine, lol.

So I've been an owner of a Gen Airking since 2017. I was curious to see how it compares to the BP Rep. V2. I bought this from a member here.

Some pictures taken of both rep and gen taken today. The gen is on the right in all pictures.
Very impressed with the rep, it's solid like the gen. The dial is pretty good. Overall I have to conclude this is NWIG!
The Airking is a quirky watch and great for weekends.

Never worn the gen, was bought for my offspring. They need to get excellent grades first!
