BTW: The picture of the Rolex 116610LV you're looking at is a GENUINE Rolex Submariner. Here's a tip when looking at pics of Rolexes: look at the hour and minute hands; if they are pointed to 10:10, it's a GEN Rolex because that's how Rolex sets the hands on their new watches before sending them out.

Switzerland's watch industry is one of the most protected in the world and it's a small country to boot. Do you really think that they would allow reps to be made there? Do you think you could get away with doing so? Do you think a rep could be made at any sort of reasonable cost in one of the most expensive countries on earth? Do you really think that a gen Rolex is 100% made in Switzerland?

The answers to all of the above are no. The answer to your question is yes, all but a hand full of very expensive (1000s of $s) reps are made in China, the rest in Vietnam and Taiwan.

Why the wish to have a rep made in Switzerland anyway? It's still going to be a rep mate.

As for movements if we are talking about a submariner you want either an ETA clone or an SW200. the latter is a Swiss made movement. Forget the "Swiss" ETAs, they generally aren't what they profess to be.

Switzerland would be the last place in the world to be manufacturing reps. Their laws are particularly harsh and you would face stiff penalties and jail time when caught.

99% of all reps are produced in China, mostly Ghuanzhou where the large watch markets are located. None in Italy or Switzerland.

Go ahead and get yourself a noob submariner with a clone ETA. Look at the for sale section and buy one from another member if possible. Educate yourself on the difference between your noob and the gen, and depending on how much money you want to spend, you can modify it, or buy a more accurate model. You will be more than happy with the noob, and it will be a better watch than you bought from that scam site. Please do not tell your wife or GF i gave you this information, because in a few months she will want to kill me.
