Nice! This is Limers right? I havr the sane build, but with a converted 2846 eta.

Was it easy putting a DG into the case?

Yes, the DG fits without problems - the 2846 has a stem height of 2.25, the DG is 2.5 - if the difference had been a fraction more it probably would have caused problems.

In my parent's basement
An ETA fits perfectly with a modified dial spacer. The ones that come with HR movements are a bit too thick. What did you use for movement spacer? Yuki 1030 spacers are a direct fit

Yet another beautiful piece from the man himself. Your tropical dials are second to none bro.

I've never worked on a Yuki 6542 case, so I can't really say - but all cases need work - even the most expensive ones.

Thanks. I am guessing this case is from MQ or same source, but you certainly did a lot of thinning.

I machined a movement ring from brass.

Its already very thin, not sure if tripdog did any more thinning. Didnt need it IMO.

They are made in Vietnam, probably a couple of factories producing them. I slimmed the lugs as they were way too wide, and thinned the ends as again, they were too thick, with a far too pronounced curve to them, chamfers were also redone as they were all over the place.
