So here I am stating the obvious: Kilo is a pro and true gentleman and it’s a pleasure to deal with.

Super patient and always willing to discuss details and changes - oh that Lollipop second hand ;-) the nuance of the color of hour markers and hands... the degree of patina and aging of case and glass...

It took nearly like a childbirth LOL but it was worth the wait selecting one by one each and every piece.

Also forgot to mention the color of the bezel insert.

Depending on the light - whether direct or not - natural or artificial, it turns into a beautiful oxford/midnight blue or dark indigo or black.

There a beauty!

I had no idea there was a gen dial that looked like that because one popped up on eBay auction Labor Day weekend and had 0 bids with 24hrs left. I tried to find a gen example (I don’t know much about big crowns) but couldn’t find one that looked like it.

It was pretty beat up but It was a gilt 2 liner with heavy serifs and auction was still at $300 when it was sold. I figured it was a rep bc I couldn’t find a gen one. Now I want to punch myself because I could have had that dial!

How is that movement? Been thinking of getting a vintage, cheaper movement for a vintage datejust build.
