Yep, as I service these from time to time I am curious to see if there are any major differences, or even any at all in what Clean is putting into the case.

4131 has a different rotor and Côtes de Genève as cosmetic differences, as well as a 4131 stamp presumably.

I might be in the minority but Rolex messed with what I thought were the perfect dimensions for a Daytona.. now it really doesn’t look elegant at all.

Completely agree with you, the case dimensions of the prior generation steel models was perfect, why do manufacturers keep feeling the need to make watches bigger?

37-39mm is the perfect size for most people! (116500 stated as 40mm but its more like a 38.5mm)

I think op's are gens, if I didn't get it too wrong. But you are right, I am curious too.

Rolex released some new models in April this year, they had changed into 4131 movement for Daytona and also updated some dials. Chinese counter finally had them after a half year, and Clean ordered the follow watches immediately. 126500 Panda dial 126500 Black dial 126503 Two-tone black dial...

Me too. From another thread:

I would do that in a heartbeat if the new case and dial weren't bigger. I don't care for the new skinny markers or subdial rings. Especially on the white dial, there is just way too much empty space. The silver subdial rings on the black dial make them look adequately more substantial.

The white lines in the next pic are exactly the same length so it's easy to see how much bigger the new dial is.

Making all the cases the same shape and style was a good move IMO. I never cared for the right side lugs being slimmer, or the SELs protruding from the lugs on some models. But I think Rolex went too big on these cases, a smaller increase would have been better.

I still prefer the stainless steel bezels , The black ceramic bezels killed the elegance for me. Although I do like that black dial/ceramic bezel with the white subdials. That looks pretty good. The white subdials brighten or lighten up the look. I like the beefier lugs just like I like the sharper maxi case submariners. Just a stronger more modern look. The dials may look empty or alternatively, a more clean, refined look. I'm not sure which yet. If they thinned the bezel to match the thin subdial rings could have helped balance the look.

I'm too used to the old 116500, I may also need time to accept the difference, but who knows, I might like it more than old ones eventually

As always happens to me, I need time to accept the differences on the "new" models... on the Daytona 126 I think I have already accepted them, even if I have never seen it live or even tried it... I consider it a different model I respect the 116, without considering it evolution anymore...in the end I want to say that you should have both!

I hope Clean Factory releases news on the 126 soon...I'd love a black dial!

Salve, premetto che ho già comprato una decina di orologi repliche, tutti da Sead 1999 , con cui mi trovo bene, anzi ho appena ordinato un Royal Oak che aspetto a giorni, ma vorrei comprare un daytona in Oro bracciale Flex siccome le repliche hanno tutte una placcatura di bassa qualità , chiedo se sapete se qualcuno lo fa con una laminatura di buona qualità opp con la cassa in oro vero, avete qualche suggerimento.
