Roger Dubuis Easy Diver Automatic : Any reviews?

I posted a similar thread back in 2011,,,but I got no reply..so here we go again..

Since I'm full of pams , I have my eyes on other watch companies too..

and this Roger Dubuis has caught my attention :

did anyone actually bought this watch?
do we have a review of this monster (46mm) ?

I owned one awhile back.
As you said, monster watch,wears big on the wrist (my wrist is 7.25)
I was going to change out the strap with a gen, but I couldn't get the strap off.
I took it to a jeweler friend, and even he couldn't remove it !
I sold it to another member.
I really liked the watch, I just moved on.

what about the built quality?

I'm used to "perfection" in pam reps.....how does this stand next to out "super reps" in terms of quality?
why did you have to replace the strap?was it so awful ?

Build quality was solid.
I can't say how it holds up to the gen.
The strap on mine was a croc, not rubber
and , yes it was horrible. The screws at the lugs were just caps and
as far as I could tell the bars were fixed, not springbars.
I can't post any pics (Photobucket is down...again)
It's a complete break from a Pam. A much bolder look.
Be sure before you pull the trigger.
