In my opinion this is the best Bubba Watson Ceramic model.

What a stunning piece, showcasing Richard Mille’s expertise in combining cutting-edge technology with luxury design. The case is crafted from high-tech grey ceramic, which not only provides a sleek, modern aesthetic but also offers exceptional scratch resistance and durability. The material choice is perfect for a watch meant to withstand Bubba Watson's high-intensity lifestyle, while still maintaining a refined and lightweight feel on the wrist.

Inside, the RM055 features the RMAL2 movement, a skeletonized automatic caliber developed by Richard Mille, providing a power reserve of about 55 hours. This movement is designed for both precision and shock resistance, an essential feature for athletes. The watch also boasts a robust titanium baseplate and a unique shock absorption system, ensuring the movement remains accurate even under extreme conditions.

The grey ceramic finish on the case is complemented by the striking contrast of the red accents and the bold design of the skeletonized dial, which highlights the complexity of the RMAL2 movement. This combination of durability, lightweight comfort, and intricate craftsmanship makes the RM055 not only a performance-driven timepiece but also a statement of luxury. It’s a true collector’s watch for those who appreciate both form and function.

According to the video in bilibili, the guy measured the Grey ZF as 14.5 mm vs usual quoted thickness of about 13mm though it appears the Grey version is thicker than the white ceramic in various pic
Thanks for clarifying. Weird that the grey one is thicker tho..

Right now, it’s popular to use MLF gray ceramic RM055 and swap in a VA movement — it’s much more affordable, around $3.6k to get it done.
Is it possible to get a VA clone with a regulated balance instead of free sprung?

IS the MLF better then the ZF? or why do they use the MLF?

MLF is almost half the price of ZF. If you're gonna throw away the movement and only use the case, which one would you pick?
