Awesome review. I am trying to buy the same watch to make into a 82572/000G-9605 because I recently bought a dial for that along with my 1921 American.
Wow that sounds very interesting. What about the case. What are you going to do about that? The case of this rep (39,6mm) is bigger than the dial of the VC Traditionnelle Smal Seconds (38mm).

Wasn't it advertised as 38mm? If there is such a large difference I may go another route. Possibly use another watch as a base.

Yes it does, mate. I've posted pictures of it in my sales thread. If you are considering it with the blue strap, it's possible to have it with that instead.
