I was worried I wont lie to you. Sending someone a few hundred quid via a method I had not used before made me nervous, what if he ignores my emails? What if the watch arrives and it's shit? what if it gets seized?
Let me start by saying Hont is a real gent and will deliver, so here goes.
After researching on this very forum, I made the decision to buy a Rolex Sub V7 in Blue, once I had decided on the watch I again used the forum to search the TD, Hont's name came up and as he was one of the oldest dealers I contacted him.
I explained what I wanted to him in my initial email. After 2 days Hont replied, he explained how to send the money and to provide the MTCN etc, I took the plunge and paid the man sending the details via email.
Within 24 hours I was emailed by Hont just confirming he had the cash, I then waited, after 4 days I started getting abit nervy but it was fine, Hont replied again stating that the V7 in blue was out of stock and did I want to wait or change my order to Black?
Like an annoying customer I asked him to check if they have any Hulks, 5 days later the reply was no, so I accepted the black V7. It is worth noting that the delay wasnt down to Hont but the factory, I see no point in contacting the customer unless I have something good to say.
Hont sent me another email with photo proof of DHL paperwork + QC watch photos. The package arrived in the UK within 24 hours!!!! Customs decided to hold it for another 24 hours, before releasing it, so from postage to wrist a little over 2 days!!!
Amazing, well done Hont and well done RWI forum for the expert advice. Here's some pics, I'll get better as I buy more.
