All rep dials (and not only dials) have flaws

I personally prefer ARF than ZZF

The thing with zzf dials is the warping around the hour indeces. ARF print is pretty good IMO. The warping / liquid effect is by far more “fake” than finer print on the dial.

hi, ive been wanting to pull the trigger on the ARF.. but the difference between the SH3135 and A2824 variant is around $10, personally i would prefer the 2824 for easy maintenance, but the SH3135 carries more than that 10$ aint it?

It's not much cheaper to service A2824 than 3135 rep movement. I just got SA3130 serviced and there was 20€ difference to A2836

It's not about the cost of serving, it's about the availability and cost of replacement parts if they break, or even an entire new movement

Someone should update Bonesy's thread on general Rolex info and movements. I think the 3135's have improved. 2824 and 2836's has always been solid. Replacements are getting easier to find.
