Thanks guys, I've built and owned a ton of SMP's. I didn't even post photos of them all. Here's another I built using 40th aniv Bond parts. The write up was pretty elaborate, especially around the closed factory case.

The one and only strap I've ever used on the SMP is the latest BP rubber strap with deployment. That's what your seeing in the photos brother. Fits beautifully and looks and feel like gen (aside from the slightly thicker stitch).

For PO I use it as well, along with the gen black rubber Bond one (with tang buckle) as seen in picture 6.

Hmm I think that might be the wrong link. It shows a 22 mm black rubber. The one in your photo looks blue

Ryan doesn't have the 20mm blue on his site but you can request it when you put the order for the 22 black. He updates the order (I ran this by him before putting order in).

Make sure you request brushed clasp rather than polished. The polished one sucks.

I don't have the blue 20mm qc photos handy but here are the black 20mm:

Great comparison man! My gen 2541.80 (the first edition, quartz) also came from exelonman, 2 years ago. Great watch, for sure! I do wonder how he gets so many of these SMP for sale, sometimes!

I see you have 2 boxes - one beat up and one pristine looking. The one that came with my watch was roughed up. Is your pristine-looking box a rep you purchased afterward?

Awesome man!! It was my old rep box, that I gave to the owner of the super franken! Figured they could enjoy it.

The material is different, the the logo is different. I'll try to see if I have a picture of the old logo to do a side by side. Personally, I like the best up box. Adds to its characteristic.

The fabric Omega uses for those gen red boxes is totally crap. They all tear and smudge like that.
