Congrats pal! Isn’t it 1:1 with a 5 digit 16610? What do you mean by Milsub?

It’s a bit of a mashup. 16610 case, 116610 bracelet and indices plus the ceramic bezel, and mil sub hands.

It is very comfortable and a solidly built watch.

Thanks! I knew that, for a moment I thought that the construction was different from a classic 16610

This insert is spectacular! Seeing as it’s a dweller style insert It’d look epic on my 116600 haha

That is very nice looking, congrats.
I must say, as a long time member who has purchased BK, WM9, and TC watches, I find the continued back story a bit off putting.
The guy who did a very detailed analysis in reddit and other sites makes a big deal out of exposing the gory details including pictures addresses, etc.

Nice write up :)

I adore mine, not left my wrist since I bought it. Now no longer being sold as John has stopped taking orders as he prepares for the release of Silent Service, his next model. Which I will be buying.

Perhaps I’m wired wrongly, but the back story actually makes the brand more interesting to me and the watch a more appealing own.

Nice write up and I figured out that a haptic is a half tick! Do like the ceramic blue insert.

I have a ceramic black bezel Smurf OR2. I really do like it and am looking forward to Ginault’s Silent Service

Welcome dear forum community!

I've thought of something different than these comparisons and factory reviews. A watch with a kind of replica history.
I am not very familiar with 5-digit subs, but today I will introduce you to the Ginault Oceal Rover 2.
I know that its not a replica technically, but, well, kind of it is, because of its history. Some of you might know;)

Right at the beginning I would like to state that I wrote this whole text in German and then translated it with google translate, so forgive me any grammar mistakes and keep in mind: I did not have a stroke - it was google;)

I ordered the Ginault Oceal Rover 2 with the navy blue ceramic bezel insert, date complication and flat crystal. Ordered from "John" (;)) and after 3 months delivered to me via Taiwan from the States.
The watch came in a box with a screwdriver, various documents, well packed with a final test report over a week where the watch was regulated to + 2s / day.

Bezel
Brutally. What the fuck. I've never seen a color like this. Darker navy blue, which looks completely different depending on the light. Cloudy, sunny, artificial light, everything looks completely different, really classy! The bezel action is like a GEN rolex in terms of haptics, click and backplay. Not a single piece worse and better than all replicas I've had before.

Crown
As far as I can tell, the logo is a plum blossom which is on the crown. It comes off smoothly and turns wonderfully

Movement / data wheel
A Swiss Made (GEN) Sellita SW-200-1 is installed which is very fine. Not as fine as a Dandong 3135 clone, but fine nonetheless. Crisp data wheel with nice pressure and accuracy + 2 / s - wonderful. (Certificate, and also measured by me on a timing machine)

CG / Lugs
The case is 1: 1 as with the GEN Milsub. No words.

Bracelet / Clasp / Glidelock
The bracelet is very well made. Glidelock is flowing like the GEN.

Crystal:
I know I'll step on the tie of some, but I don't see any difference between the crystals. Please note that I am color blind and it may be that I do not perceive nuances in color differences. As with the GEN :)

SEL
10/10 :)

Dial
Wonderful, matches the pointers. Solid pressure. The manufacturer simply has a worldwide network where you can find the best parts, brutal.

Bonus:

Waterproof 300m

I hope I was able to give all of them a few sweet minutes with the review.

Very nice piece. "Swiss Made (GEN) Sellita SW-200-1 is installed which is very fine. Not as fine as a Dandong 3135 clone..." At this point in time, if given a choice I would still select the SW-200-1 over the Dandong 3135 clone. I just dont know enough about the 3135 clone so I would play it safe.
Glückwunsch.

I have one too with the vintage Golden Sand lume, and I agree with your assessment 100%. I actually bought mine because it's basically a Rolex-quality Rolex without the Rolex name on the dial.

Only weeks later it dawned on me that it still looks like a Rolex to a wanna-be Robber, and by the time the guy realizes it's not a Rolex, you have already become the intended victim of this robbery anyway.

There's no winning in this game, unless you wear a G-Shock!

I would choose VS3135. Cause I hate the sandy winding feeling of a 2824 equivalent. Rather swap movement every 2-3 years than live with that sandy thing😂
