Hi friends... I like the watches but I like the battery powered movements more, they are more carefree and I don't need to wind up the watch whenever I want to put it on. Are there manufacturers that use a battery movement with a rep case?

RepsourceUK has some nice looking Speedy's with a Seiko mecha-quartz in.
That mech is lovely.
5 ticks a second on the chrono hand (i.e. what most would call the second hand, so much so lots leave it ticking) and quartz 1 second ticks on the tiny sub dial "real" second hand.

This is one option. It uses the same Swiss Ronda movement is the genuine.

Another to look at is the brettling endurance.

There's a more than a few Brietling, Tag Heuer, and Omega gens with quartz movements, and reps of them available. I believe there are Cartier and AP gens with quartz movements as well, and reps with the same. Other than that, you can always get a rep Rolex with a quartz movement, but it's an obvious tell from gen.

Part of the fun of mechanical movements is actually to wind and set it 😅

But I see what you mean. I bought a nice Brew Metric with a VK63. This is a meca-quartz movement. You get some degree of mechanical but with the comfort of quartz.

Buy a nice automatic rep and a VK63 powered watch (gen, homage or rep) This way you have both depending on your mood

I love mechanical devices of any kind...watches, cars, bicycles, guns, even old steam engines. If it has more than 2 parts that move together, I could stare at it all day and think of reasons to take it apart and build it back better, so to speak.

But some days, I damn sure appreciate the convenience of a watch that I only have to set every 5 years or so and forget about.

I've got a beater watch that's a Submariner homage with a quartz movement...bright blue dial, like $40 on AliX. It gets its share of wrist time, because sometimes it's all I need to get through the day, lol.

One rep that you might consider

ZF Royal Oak 33mm in quartz
With the integrated bracelet, it wears bigger than 33mm and it has no seconds hand

I like the way you think, lol.

I actually spent a little time looking into making a rep of the Oysterquartz that Rolex made in the '70s, but there's really nothing I could find that would come even reasonably close to the case/bracelet and dial.

It was a neat watch, with a decent assortment of dials, bracelets, and metals. I like the idea that most people look for "ticking" as the "surefire way to spot a fake Rolex, every time!"

Lol

This one is 95% NWBIG and runs a Swiss quartz
Almost impossible to tell between the gen even on close inspection. End links on bracelet could be a little better matched to case but apart from that…. It may as well be a gen.

Cartier Tank is the only one listed that hasn't been listed here.

Otherwise, not really. Most luxury watches are mechanical/automatic, which means most fakes are manuals or automatics.
