Wow amazing all of you so called Rolex experts yet none of you had the balls to report this alleged fake to EBay.. So someone gets ripped off by a scumbag who doesn't give too craps and all of you just assisted him. Or maybe you really dont know the difference between a gen and rep Rolex. Me for one this is the main reason I would never purchase a Rolex even if I want to pay too much for a watch. Most people who see it on your wrist think its a fake to begin with!! I also do not have enough experience or knowledge to allege any watch is real or not. I know I'm buying rep watches and thats fine with me because I'm not trying to make someone believe it it anything other than that.
Sorry if I offend any of your ego's but stop slapping each other on the ass and do something, even anonymously when you see something like this.

These fakes on Ebay are regularly reported by many members here, myself and @Tucker included, who is the OP - in fact that's the reason he started this thread, to incite people to report the watch - and I'm sure many people did.
Never the less the sale went ahead, because Ebay don't give 2 shiny little shits about this sort of thing.
I have some devastating news for you, Ebay just wants to make money - you can report a fake watch sale everyday for 2 weeks straight and Ebay won't take it down - I know become it's happened to me several times.

I only read this thread yesterday, so I was not able to grow a pair either!! I'm glad to hear that others did step up. From the post on this thread there was no indication that anyone had reported. I'm glad that some did. I also want to re-iterate that I was not trying to offend anyone personally but as a community we need to try to be diligent about these kind of scams. I do not use EBay very often so I dont see these issues and am also not knowledgeable to know the difference on visual inspection. I would like to believe that if I did know of a scam I would be willing to report it myself.

I'm sorry to hear that this is the way eBay works. I guess I'm just nieve and inexperienced.

Unfortunately e-bay is quite unresponsive to removing replicas. I report them when I find them. Another tactic I've seen used is keep pestering the seller. This is why it is said so many times throughout the forum that anyone who will send that kind of money sight unseen to an anonymous vendor, usually with low to no feedback, is courting disaster. I don't feel they deserve it, but it's definitely not something they thought logically on. What is sad is a fair number of these will probably not be caught as fakes until down the road when it needs work and the back is opened by a professional.
