Hand removal

Great tutorial! I'm waiting for my hand removal tool. Is this process still possible with a spring loaded removal tool? One that is not the lever type? And lastly, how do you know the hands are placed on correctly? Do they click when in the right place? What about the seconds hand? Thanks! I'll be following your tutorial when I do this.
