On Thuersday I flew from Atlanta to Seattle to interview with a company that wants to hire me as their Regional Manager for their operations in the Southeast. I was wearing my MBW Sub which hardly anyone ever notices. I I go through a battery of interviews and the final one with the president of the company and lo and behold He is wearing a SS Sub. One of the first thing he says is great watch and shows me his. We chuckled and talked watches for a few minutes, it appears he is a Rolex WIS and owns several Gens, he has a Gold Day Date, TT Daytona, SD, and a couple of Tudors. He also has a vintage Milgauss that belonged to his Dad. He seemed quite impressed by my watch knowledge and it really made the interview go smooth.
We spent more time talking about watches than talking about the job, but on my way out he told me that I had the job if I wanted it. And bot did I want it. I am know the new District Manager of the Southeast with a 40% pay increase. More money equals more Reps.
