I mean, will they have two lines of text or five? Have they bought an in-house mvmnt version or ETA version?
Cause if new Pelagos rep will have two lines of text, same decorated movement and fix all small flaws, then I think it will be 95% super rep. Maybe one of the best.
Once in awhile I go into my local fine jewelry store, a Rolex and Tudor AD, where I try on different Rolex and the Tudor Pelagos blue dial and LHD.
I could afford a gen Rolex and most certainly the Tudor but I just can't do it knowing I can get a 90% close one from one of our TDs, and I'm not as anal about rep imperfections.
I consider myself very lucky to have discovered this world of reps.

I totally understand this. For me, it raises the question of "what is a thing?" Is a gen Rolex what you want? Or will a 1:1 super rep scratch the itch? And if so, what exactly is this itch? Is that which differs between the two, something that matters that 90%...or any percent at all? Nothing like a great rep experience to bring out the philosophical side of a guy.
