Where can someone come up with a gen movement? It would seem to be very difficult to do.
Also, most of the tells recently on the Fiddy involve the 581 case. Is the 117 case also as easy a tell with these people? The 117 case seems to be more accurate compared to the gen. Is this correct?
Enquiring minds want to know!

I would hazard a guess that the gen movement came from a more inexpensive gen probably... hehe... take one gen watch and make two frankens to sell???

Those Panerai freaks are a skiddish bunch. They cosy up to each other, but if they even get a sniff of a rep in their midst they turn into a pack of hungry lions. And this guy who MAY have been duped is not only possibly out $9k+, but is now covered in barbecue sauce surrounded by the lions. Tough break.

Wonder if he ever went out to a gtg..... can you imagine how those guys would feel if there had been a rep in their midst at a gtg and they didn't realize it?

On one GTG someone stole a 1950... talk about a scum bag.

The group quickly came together, started a donation fund, and bought the victim a new 1950. I thought that was real nice of them. So, they aren't a bunch of pricks, they just move on a different level than you and I. I am sure they are quite "protective" of their toys.

He's RWG forumer...posted the pic of the same watch there some time ago (two-three weeks ago) I'm unable to find the original post at the mo.

He basically removed E-series mov't from his gen 113 and installed it in rep e0851 Fiddy case...as I said on RWG, the only part gen in that Fiddy is the movement, all other parts are rep's.

...and again, posting the pics of the same watch on the gen forum after being called on it on a rep forum is simply, well...stupid !

This kind of stuff doesn't help either side of PAM communities, rep or gen.
