Removing a quartz movement and setting hands

So I have a ladies Mont Blanc chrono with a japanese quartz movement. The hour and minute hands line up at 11:55 rather than 12 o'clock so I want to remove the movement and align them properly. I can't figure out how to remove the crown to get the movement out. As the picture shows, there's an area where it says 'push', which I assume is probably the place for the crown, but there isn't really anything visible to push down on. Help please!!! Secondly, should I remove the hands to reset them or can I simply rotate the minute hand counterclockwise in situ?

and I can't figure out how to up and download the pic

Be very careful poking on the stem release. I pushed a little too hard on my GMT and almost FUBARed the watch.

[I don't know if you can just move the hands or if you have take them off - is it bad enough to risk?]

It just seems so....cheap-and-nasty to have the hands meet five minutes before they should. It's so..... Replica Watch!

and I still can't figure out how to upload the !~@#$%^& photo of the movement I took. I'm not a stupid guy, but this is reaaaaaally frustrating.

Get the pic up and I'll tell you how to remove the stem. All quartz MVTs are a bit different in how this happens so I need to see it.

Pics need to be loaded to Photo Bucket or the like before being linked to here.

Look for a small hole where it says push. Some are so small you'll need a pin. Be careful not to push too hard though.

Oke, there will be a little lever in there that you GENTLY push away from the stem while gently pulling on the stem. Don't force anything. Some of those Miyotas can be tricky. Good thing is the whole MVT is only about five bucks if you do stuff it. Just use the tip of a small driver and carefully prod untill you find out what moves and that will be it.

Can't find the lever to which you refer. Can you tell by the photo where it is? I have removed the plastic ring around the movement. I can also slide something (?) back and forth through the hole where it says 'push', but this seems connected to the chrono buttons and doesn't allow me to pull the stem out. I suspect I'm just not hitting the right thing.

First have you tried resetting the hands without disassembling?
Get the instruction pdf here-http://www.citizen.co.jp/miyota_mvt/download/index.html
Try the procedure they have there before trying to pull the stem out.

If that fails the lever is in the hole marked push. From memory (and don't hang me on this one) you need to have the stem in the 1st out position (hand set) to release it.
Have a look in the hole, whilst operating the stem in and out. If you see a lever with a dot in it appear when you move the crown position, you have found your release point. Be gentle... very gentle, and once the stem is out, move the movement around as little as possible.
I don't think you will need to do this, my memory is that the hands reset procedure on these will do the job.

well, it wasn't exactly 'tomorrow'. Anyway, I found the button to press when the crown is pushed all the way in. All is well, and thanks very much for the help.
