Remove scratches from a brandnew PO bracelet?link on case

I received my PO last friday.... was happy to get it home, since its been in the customs office...
Everything, ok...... apart from little scratches..... I know its little thing, but once noticed I see it every time....
especially the one on the first link, the one closest to the case., there is a small but deep scratch.
Can this link be removed or exchanged ?
If it is not exchangeable or no spares available how can I remove the scratch?

Unbelievable.

You receive a rep from Customs, after some sweating it out, I am sure, and the watch looks and works good and you still dwell on one meaningless little scratch????

I think a lot of noobs seriously need to learn to live with some things that will always be part of the rep business, no matter what, period.

In all due respect: you need to get busy in your life and worry about the real problems that plague this old planet, better yet, worry about nothing, watch a good movie, drink some nice vintage wine and have a nice meal with a beautiful woman...I bet you after all this, that scratch will mean nothing in the grand scheme of things....if it still does, seek help.

Actually, wouldn't the Cape Cod cloth end up giving a polished look to the steel? And also, deeper scratches wont disappear with just the Cod...

Some fine grain sandpaper or a scotchbrite, work the scratch down, following a steady and straight pattern to match the rest of the band and then give it a bit of Cape Cod....

One of those brush pens is OK too, I have one and it works OK....

A replica watch is sort of a disposable good: it's meant to be worn and enjoyed by you. If you get all anal on scratches and ditches, then the watch is screwing you instead of you enjoying it. If you want a 100% perfect watch, go to an AD and buy a genuine PO.

I don't mean to say that the scratch is not an issue, too bad it's there, but it's a TINY issue, so just lean back and relax, props for getting it out of the claws of the :evil: GREAT SATAN (the customs) :evil:

You could use a belt sander. No, just kidding. I've had scratches like those and took them out with a dremel and a fine wire roto tool that came with it. I don't think I paid more than 50 bucks for it.

Timezone(the sinigle biggest watch community) has recomended Scotchbrite? the green part on teh sponge - to buff out scratches/restore the brushed look.

I would test it out on a spare link.

I would not risk exchanging it... small thing; no big deal. Maybe if u buy genuine endlinks - 30 dollars each on Ofrei.com.

the scratch is OK. not bad. no worries, wear and enjoy.
