Regulate Rolex Clone Movement?

Just saw this thread now. Yeah, this movement is indeed an ETA clone. It doesn't actually resemble a 3135, more like a 3035 (no balance bridge).

It's very easy to mess up the hairspring when the regulator isn't easily manipulated. I can't tell you how many balances I have had to replace due to tangled hairspring.

You may be best off leaving this job to a pro.

The clone looks nothing like this (another gen 3135 I'm servicing):

Not sure what the big deal is with the clones. They don't really resemble the real thing if you ask me. A novelty I guess.

i really only got the "clone" version of the GMT II because it has a correct functioning jumping hour GMT hand. i agree, no one ever sees the inside of the watch.
