Mine is still under the knife. Having issues with the bezel on the gen Crystal. DW bezel doesn't fit the gen Crystal... hopefully sorted before Christmas!
Jim let me know what solution you come up with. I ran into a stalemate with the same problem.Mine is still under the knife. Having issues with the bezel on the gen Crystal. DW bezel doesn't fit the gen Crystal... hopefully sorted before Christmas!
Exactly what I found out as well. I decided that if I could not find a correct bezel I would not change it. The modified plexi would be a great solution.DW bezel inner part is smaller than gen plexi outer part.
2 solutions : shaved the outer part of the gen plexi with a risk to break it or end with rift. Or shaved the inner part of the bezel but the numerals and points of the bezel will be to close and it won’t be gen like.
It is what I have been explained, so the best solution of course is to modify the plexi with the risk of losing 200$. Technically i don’t have any idea of the saftiest way to do so.
Hey Jack I sent you a pm...Guys anyone needs a gen 128 plexi?
Maybe someone is looking for it!before putting it on the bay...
Got it when I was looking to put a 7032 tougher,than I find one with the gen plexy so it can go...
Chrono I am still looking for that perfect end link. When I find the rep that is perfect I will begin the search for a full gen oyster bracelet. At present I run two stainless configurations the jubilee and the 7836 oyster. The jubilee is a mixup of gen old clasp and rep sides and end links. I use lug bars with .75mm pins and 555 wnd links. Seems to work nice and is secure.

I hope to try the 358 to see if they will work with gen spec bars. I have tried the 380/580 and they are a no go on rhe DW case.

@mag8
The links on mine are from rep sources. Cartel, WSO etc... except for the jubilee. I don't remember for sure but think the 555's were off of a gen datejust I had.
The tudor shield clasps were available on the 9315 bracelet in the 70's so it could have been a combo. Most often you see them with 7036 bracelets and (correction factory provided 382 end links) end links. I have tried 380 end links on my DW and they dont work. I want to try 382's when I find some.
My 7032 is getting a new option...
7031 Convertibility!
And yes that is a gen 93150 bracelet and 501b end links. Not correct but soooo comfortable.
Nope,Congratulation! Looking more sharp, is that Phong bezel?
