How's the lume typically on PAMs from non-DSN sources?

Not good, typically. Some dealers like PureTime and TWP offer relumed watches, but if it's not advertised as such, expect mediocre lume.

re the lume - that's not great as one of the things I like a lot about PAMs is their ability to make me look like an integral part of a star wars light-saber fight!

vaccum or Ziggy can sort you out on that front. ~$100 for a sandwich dial and ~$130 or so for a sausage dial.

Oh, I also really like my black dialed Breitling Superocean Steelfish.

That 001B is nice, real nice...

Reluming could be an option then. I shall have a serious look tonight and after I've frequented the AD.

I like the Breitlings too but there are lots of fakes (well, I've noticed one or two) knocking around where I am so would be a bit like buying a Louis Vuitton handbag or a Rolex in these parts unfortunately. May yet get one for my travels though I suppose!
