Stop the roast If she sees this she'll kill us both
Have you tried 34mm? it's a perfect size between 31mm and 36mm. I suggest trying out the Raffle's 34mm Tudor-prince before buying a rep rolex. why Tudor, instead of Rolex you said? it's simple because if your wife doesn't like the size, it's easier to resale than a rep Rolex 34mm.I was also wanting to get my wife a DJ. She has an authentic 26mm DJ. It’s too small. The 31mm has a poor quality movement though. I’m not sure if the 36mm would be too big.
The stock rep ones aren't great but should be fine, that is a risk with all diamond jewelery and the way it's setI just wonder how a diamond bezel would hold up to every day use. Is there risk of stones falling out?
Does it have to be Rolex? Are other luxury brands okay with her? If so, I have some suggestions for you sir, and maybe it will check all the boxes on her list.Yes, but she wants something very specific. A 2 tone with white Roman dial and diamond bezel.
dont bring anything else home...She’s pretty hung up on Rolex. Thanks for the suggestion though.
If she hung up on Rolex, maybe a custom build will do it, but it's costly, tho. I have built one in the past with a real diamond bezel, and geese, the price went up skyrocket very fast! It all depends on the size of the diamonds, and how good the quality you would like. Recently, over the past few years, the concept of using moissanite for jewelry has become very popular because moissanite is as durable as a real diamond, and passed the diamond test. However, the shine and the sparkle color of the moissanite is more of a rainbow color, very firey compared to real diamonds which have rainbow and white color reflections. But the price of the stainless steel bezel with the moissanite alone is estimated at around $300 for 36mm, the price of a decent rep watch. She’s pretty hung up on Rolex. The aftermarket bezels on Rafflesdials, and eBay, are mostly just CZ Rhinestone. Those stones are mostly glass bases, easy to break, have very little to no shine, and the color will be dulling over time.
Very nice!!! congrats! Would you please share the specs of this beauty? Thank you very much.
