It looks pretty good compared to the gen, however I'm sure there will be a few tells to the better trained eye. The view on D4M's site does not show the case back, but I'm sure he can accomidate you if you ask. You can find some good pics of the gen PAM111 over at Da Vinci Watches (D4M's price beats their $5600 price tag with a BIG stick! LOL!)

All in all from what I've researched it is a good buy and a great intro to Panerais. I've been shopping around for a nice PAM for some time (6 months) and I have to say I'm waiting with baited breath on this one!

Did you get the one with the tall cannon pin mod? Its the best way to go. Next all you need is a good strap, the rep stap is fairly sad.
