As a certified noob, this was really fun and informative for me- especially a more specific roadmap for doing quality research. Thank you for putting this effort in for us! That being said, could you redo the example research section with the best no date sub instead of that omega?but more seriously, this is very helpful and alleviates some of my anxiety about some of the really helpful stickies being many years old at this point- thank you very much.
A simple thank you for this does not do it justice. So much amazing information and a clear representation of someone who cares. This, among a lot of the other guidance post I have read over my short few months here, has lead me to gratefully respect the rules and dedication. You all have committed me to a life sentence of watch obsession and sponsored commitment. Proud to contribute to this amazing organization.
I am sure I will still make noobie post mistakes, but hopefully much fewer going forward.
Enough with the sappiness.... now I want a GMF Arabic Tungsten Daydate
Thank you.
One of the most fantastic posts I've read so far, what a detailed piece of work. Thank you!
M2M trading is what I hope I can easily ramp into. I am a person who would love to rotate watches every 6-12 months, typically buy 2-3 at a time, and would much rather trade amongst peers than buy, sell, buy... however, this doesn't seem very popular. Is that a fair assumption? If you find my post useful, then I'm grateful. If it has helped even one person, then it was worth it to write. Welcome to the replica game and enjoy your stay!
Is there an area, or even a different site that focuses on trades? I would love to find a way to try new watches and rotate with people without a constant buy/sell motion. Thank you!M2M Sales And Advice
There have been a trillion threads about M2M sales. There’s not much more I can give advice on.
- Be aware of scammers active. We have an infamous Icelandic dude running around, elaborately scamming members for many years now. He is difficult and the moderators cannot be omnipresent.
- Buy the seller, not the watch. This new member with 3 posts who isn't certified is offering you the watch you've been looking for? Come on don't be a rube.
- If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is. Trust your gut.
- Do your due diligence. Research previous deals with members. The watch is not going anywhere. Even long time members with good reputation have scammed before. The Brig is full of them. So be careful and trust your gut.
- Don’t trust the seller blindly about condition. Ask about the watch, condition. For example, one mistake I see members often do is that they don’t count how many links the watch comes with.

From what I can see, trading is not really that preferred. Most members take cash only. The only trades I see are rare watches being traded for other rare watches. Is there an area, or even a different site that focuses on trades?
