I never thought Abidal was such a good addition to the team anyway. At one point he played so badly that I thought they'd only let him play out of pity so he can feel a little better after all the health issues he encountered earlier...

You know, i'm kinda intrigued by the way Arsenal manages their squad. I recently read that they are one of the richest teams in the world and i find it odd that they always sell their good players.

That's probably why they are rich, selling them off. Some teams just have a good athletic structure in their b,c squads and prospects and can stay in competition thought the marquee players are sold or traded.

Chelsea scored and kept a clean sheet. Now Barca have to win by two goals.....that wont be easy, even at the Nou Camp.

I say that FCB really needed a striker after David Villa broke his leg. I was honestly surprised that no one was signed during the winter signing window.

How the fcuk did Chelsea beat Barca tonight? 17% possession and still managed to scrape a result with ten men.
Barca players got nervous, Ramirez scored their goal on a fast break and Messi threw away the penalty kick.
I guess it has been way too much pressure on them, unfortunately for me at least i have very little interest in the UEFA CL final.
I'm hoping that Bayern wins it because Chelsea plays a very strange form of football really.
