Dude, I don't know if you're near the USA at all like FlanDad, but have you seen how pretty a daydate looks after he runs a re-plate job on it. If you click on his name on reddit I think you can scroll down lists of pictures and videos of various ones available. I think they're such a nice 'ready made' option for people who'll pay a little extra. I'm jealous I can't buy one because I live so far away.

When i go back to DayDate i would like to have a black dial with the round and baguette diamonds.. i dont know if that can be sourced or not anymore. This is Ric Flairs watch from about 10 yrs ago.. he gave it to Ashley and she put this bracelet on his WM 24 watch. She now wears it.

@Buster Hyman Aww. No can do, Buster. The model is old and not properly replicated. The slightly more modern version of it isn't well replicated either across factories. Beware, that some factories (BP, GMF and just some EWF dial choices) make the black with baguette and round diamonds but have the wrong markings (wrong style of 'swiss made') written on bottom of their dial, which give away instantly to anyone who knows that the watch is a rep. I don't know if that's important to you or not, but I like mine to look quite correct on most of my watches.

Check out this one by EWF of the 128238. it's green and black but at least the markings are all correct and you get a super new product. https://theonewatches.io/index.php?...=9866&search=daydate&description=true&page=11

Note also when you are browsing that EWF do make a gold daydate with black dial and a combination of round and baguette dials with a bit of ruby colour on them but the bottom style of the dial being swiss made with a tiny crown shape in the middle is very modern and is a total fantasy design from the past with the wrong bottom bit on it. Because Rolex never made a modern black with this dial colour and style.

@Buster Hyman So EWF have some super new daydates out with upgraded movement, but none in black with two styles of diamond because rolex never made this style in it's modern watch being replicated. But if a daydate is what your heart desires, I'd definitely recommend you look at the brand new EWF watches too :)

@Buster Hyman And if you're partial to a blingy bezel, note that GMF DO sell a blingy bezel if wanted. The bezel, I've seen on other people's watches, actually gives off some sparkle in little pops of green, blue, red etc. and has a pretty effect.
Example of what the bezel shape on a GMF looks like here: https://www.reddit.com/r/reptimeonline/comments/17e4hln
Thanks for everything.. yeah i just wanted a normal DD with the black face with this face.. not all the gaudiness if you will. BUT i will sacrifice for all stick diamonds if i cant find the round ones.. Il look at your references and go from there.. Thanks again
