I have a 312 that I love, and recently got a 388 as a marriage of the 380 and 312, but for me the 388 just doesn't have the elegance of the 380.

Get a 380 and see for yourself.

I love PAMs and have had a 288, 380, and 388 and would recommend any. If/when they rep a 572 I'll be all over it, the 512 is lovely but too small for my tastes. The Radiomir 1940's are how all RADs should be.

The wire lugs are hit and miss -- I've replaced a good half dozen of the screws from stripping them or being overzealous with the locktite, but I have heavy hands as well. If you're looking for a similar fixed lug, the 399 is a great piece. Its a very underrated model, and while there are some significant flaws, the look seems to be what you are looking for.
