It depends....

If you haven't had any Radiomirs on your hand before and want to try it, go on.
If you want to learn reluming sandwich dials, go on.
If you want to tamper with the movement and the watch, go on.

Apart from that, I'd save up some cash and buy a proper one. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Karesz501,
That sound logical. Got link to purchase a 'proper' 183 and a 380 rep? ;)

183 by DSN is good enough, his dial is great.

The 380 is a super rep, if you like the sausage (painted lume) dial and the OP logo, definitely buy that. It can be had from any of our TD-s, pick who you like. I'd rather link a pictorial review by Polonus, it shows how good the 380 really is. If you do not have a special affection towards the 183, I'd go with the 380, its quality is top.

I'm new here and probably have a common question. I have a 292K and had all the problems with loose lugs and separation of the ceramic from the steel case. I heard the 292M fixed those problems and I'd like to replace my broke-down "K" with an "M" if these issues really were fixed. Anyone have any experience with the M? How long have you had it? If you've only had the M for a short time or have never changed the strap, then you might not have encountered the issues that eventually surfaced on the K. How do I get connected with a reputable seller?

Lastly, is there a section on this site where members are selling their used watches? How do I find this section? Thanks in advance.

I shall pick a 288, where I can find a good one?

The best current options of PAM 292 are M-series from H maker and J-series either from H maker or from Noob. N-series has dial inaccuracy problems.
These replicas have not the case problems
In order to get more info read PAM GUIDE

"Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection

I personally prefer the M-series H maker and J-series Noob but it is a taste matter. People who give importance to the PIG logo would prefer the H maker version, and many people who don't like the PIG logo would prefer M-series

Thanks ALE. Actually I did do my homework - spent hours on this site before finally posting. I couldn't understand the meaning of H-maker and Noob. I thought they were sellers and I was looking all over for them.

I enjoy the site very much - lots of info. Thanks to guys like you who put in the time to help us out.

OK, many times we suppose that all people know about all things. Sorry for that.
As you can see now, H maker, Noob, V6 are names which we give to the different makers.
Don't hesitate to consult anything you could need.
And next time, try to post your own thread, please, in order to have more tidy the info.
Thanks

Hi guys!

Very nice pics. The time has come, I want one.
May you give me a little help do make a decision between the 288 and the 380...

First: Are there Big differences between These two watches, is One mor flawless than the other?
Are there Problems with the 288 Chrono functions?

What model would you recommend for a PAM Starter - 288 or the 380?

Many thanks to all of you!

Hi Hascho
You are talking about two completely different watches.
As you know the 288 is more complex and the 380 is a simple and smart design.
If you read the PAM GUIDE:
"Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/reference-pam-review-107365?t=107365
You can see that the replica PAM 288 is a recognized Super replica with few flaws (almost perfect) although its complex design.

The PAM 380 last version from H maker is very good too. It is bordering the Super rep class due to a little dial flaw in PANERAI inscription (very visible but not noticeable).
You must use the chrono as less as possible. Chrono is a movemnt more complex and then more exposed to issues.
Maybe for starting would be better the PAM 380

Having had both, the 288 is a cool looking sportier watch with all the bells and whistles. The 380 is a really thin elegant dressier watch. Just my opinion. I ended up keeping the 380 - love it's thin case profile and clean dial.

Thanks Ale for this information.
I dont need the chronos in fact; I even dont use it on my gen Speedmaster or Sinn 756.
First goal for me is to get the watch with less flaws - is the spelling flaw on the 380 a big tell?

If not, I think I agree with you and Patrick (thanks too!) and will go for the 380.
Is the last (best) version available on our TDs?

Thanks all!

This flaw is almost no noticeable. But we are a little insane and a little flaw in the dial is very exaggerated by ourselves.
Buy this watch with confidence no problems.

My first. Rad was a 183, also had a 339, my first 288 was stolen as well as an homage 231...
My current 288 on the gen croc rep strap:

My next one will be a 232.

Yes. I love my 288.
Also I think the 288 is better finished than my 380.
Just a well put together piece.

I'm so disappointed. Ever since I saw the 183-G, I fell in love with it. Purchased one from RWG with a 6497 movement. Watch didn't even last 6 months, and it broke on me.

Time to share my DSN PAM232 with you. Strap is made of a 63rd swiss army rifle belt.
