I wish it was 39 or 37 mm.That’s not bad. Like @grillbill said. Gen is right below 9mm I think. So 11mm is okay for a 41mm watch.

Nope, this one:I wonder if this release is the rep of the 26730ST, which has a 41 mm x 10.6 mm case. Although the tourbillon in that doesn’t have brass parts, but only white metal. And also the dial has a different color:

But that would has more similar case thickness.
Yes, as @jm_brc_7057 mentioned, the gen is 9mm thick, so a 2mm difference isn't much. If I recall correctly, these watches started with a thickness of 14mm, so it's a significant improvement.
While the Tourbillon isn't perfect, it's also a big improvement over previous ones
