Bad news indeed! I thought (wrongly) that this has been solved a long time ago.
Edit : I was referring to Noob for instance, ZZ being too fresh on the market...

I dont know what you you all think,
but I felt like I just got scammmmmed!!! Got my ZZF no date just last week. Today I open the back to see why the rotor is spinning like a helicopter.

unless I am completely seeing things from my computer screen that no one else is seeing....last time I check Li had a bunch pix of the movement that should look like the one on page 1 of this thread.

It’s an Asian 2836 which is what it is supposed to be albeit not decorated.

Where are you guys finding the ZZF V2 2836 no date? All I see on jtime’s site is the 3130 version. I believe it’s the V2 due to pics of the rehaut but it doesn’t specifically say.

I believe his web site is not up to date. My understanding from Li is that there is no 3130 V2. When they updated to V2 the 3130 version of the no date was discontinued and all that is currently being produced is the un decorated Asian 2836. At least that was what I was told last month when I bought mine.

I feel the same way, my understanding is its a slightly less accurate rep but more dependable movement.

From my understanding, the decorated movement can have paint flaking off causing mechanical movement issues.
