xxBlack- If you are changing the bezel, it is a good time to change the gasket. I know some people shave their's down a smidge, but for me it was easier to just fit a new one. To me, it was necessary... Seeing the gasket at the top edge of the rehaut every time I looked down at my wrist was driving my OCD crazy.

Where can I get that?

The gasket? For gen... Watchmakers that had held a Rolex parts account will probably still have some in inventory... ~30 years of 295/C crystals in use will mean that many of them had quite a few on hand for performing services. Then there are always the usual haunts like eB*y, Frei, etc. The gasket itself shouldn't set you back a whole lot... Should be a fairly low cost item.

ginopino- Thank you kindly, sir! Appreciate the kind words!

The gasket was something I had in my spares... So, it was a quick and easy exchange. If I recall correct, the noob crystal was .2mm taller than the gen I exchanged it with. Does not sound like a lot, but it made a considerable difference. Before, the top edge of the gasket could be seen just creeping up above the rehaut if viewed from an angle. The gasket change eliminates that.

thanks for your input. is this the right gasket? if so ill order it

iceberg1459- Not entirely sure on that. Especially from that second image on the listing; looks way too thin. As there isn't a p/n reference or actual measurements indicated, I would probably keep looking...

freediver- Thank you kindly! I think it helps tremendously that the watch is extremely photogenic :) It's an easy watch to capture in photos...

Lartamia- Forgive my ignorance; are tapatalk users not able to see my images?

d3xophen- My watch is a noob :) Genuine crystal gasket fitted to bring the crystal height down a little and now wearing a CF bezel. Have some additional changes that I'll be making, but not sure how far I need to actually take things; it's a great watch with very little that really needs to be done to it (IMHO).

xxBlack- The bezel change is an easy one; ~5 minutes to remove the Noob bezel and just a few seconds to press the new one on.

The hardest part is making sure the bezel is aligned at 12:00...
