How hard is it to change swap the bezel of a 116500. I’m happy with just a bezel swap, but don’t want to send the whole watch all the way to a modder? Is there a tutorial video anywhere? Can it be done by an amateur like myself?

Just received my watch back from the resident dragon legend and holy smokes, I can't be anymore happier. He has helped me re-brushed, polished the sharp noob bracelet, replaced the bezel with clean's and serviced the movement from +12 s/d to +1s/d...amazing. The man is so knowledgeable about horology. It has been a pleasure and an honor to work with him.
Gasket and crystal are stock noob. That photo is pre-thinning mod (which I think is shaving gasket?), but I believe it has been done since photo.

The "N" in units, looks so bad. It's like UNITS. The backslash looks so wrong and thick. Heres a little illustration of what I mean when I say backslash --> | \ |

I'm agree with you. Also the "R" in the noob is sooooooooooo tiny and need a loupe to be seen... but is a major problem for, almost, everyone

So it's a choice between the serif and the O in HOUR on the noob, the thicker and in my eyes too paler coloured font on the ARF, or the N in UNITS on the CF. A lot of this will probably insignificant when seen at real watch size and not blown up. Overall the CF is most gen-like in my eyes and will be the one which I will order when i get a bit of spare cash .....

even CF is totally inaccurate under electron microscope, id rather get gen at this point

This right here is why I’d rather spend $25k on a gen instead of $700 on something that is 95% gen...????
Obviously I kid. My Daytona with CF bezel should be in the next few days
