Question About Cheaper Replicas – Looking for a 5711

I have a question about cheaper replicas. I'm new to the hobby, as I already mentioned in my intro thread, and I'm currently looking to purchase a Patek Philippe 5711. From what I’ve gathered so far, it seems that 3KF is considered the best factory for this model, and I’ve already been in touch with a TD about it. The price seems fair based on what I understand about the replica market so far, but since this would be my first watch, I’d feel more comfortable spending a bit less.


So, my question is: are there any TDs offering cheaper versions of the 5711? I fully understand that I won’t get the same quality as with the best replicas, and that’s fine. I’m just hoping to find something in the $200–$300 range to get started.


If the 5711 isn’t available in that price range, I’m also open to exploring other watches.

All TDs have access to the same watches, so your best course of action in this case is either browse some of their sites and look for the cheaper options, or directly ask the TD if he has a 5711 option within the price range you mentioned.
Also, you have the option to try an homage watch, Pagani does a Nautilus homage for less than 200 bucks iirc. In this case, you'd have pretty decent quality, too.

That’s a great tip! I did consider reaching out to some TDs, but I wasn’t sure if it would be okay to ask questions without necessarily buying something right away—I didn’t want to waste their time. Also, thanks for mentioning Pagani. I didn’t realize there was such a thing as a “homage” watch. Are you referring to a genuine Pagani Design here?

Yes, Pagani Design, but I'll wager there's more chinese brands making _Nautilus homages. Aliexpress can be a good source to research. I don't know if San Martin does a Nautilus knockoff, but the brand is top quality for a great price. In addition, if you search the internet you'll find coupon codes for AliX and possibly get further discounts.

Be patient on M2M and look for deals, sometimes you'll see great ones. Do some research around dealers and look at budget ones like BPF 5711.
