Hi folks,
New to the forum and new to this world - so hello!
I've been lurking and researching for a while and finally made an order. I've received the QC back and the dial looks a smidge off, so I'm curious to know whether this is something folks would reject the QC for - or whether it's well within what would be considered acceptable?
I've attached the image below, the the dial and bezel look a touch out of alignment based upon the axis I've added (which I drew via squares so I know are straight lines). You might have to zoom a little as the lines are only 1px wide.
TIA!

Hello and welcome to RWI!
I noticed that this is your first time posting on RWI. You are welcome to introduce yourself in the new members area in the "New members say hi" sub section.
Regarding your QC, be prepared that a few old time members will be unsure whether you are serious or if this is supposed to be parody. If you are serious, let me ask you this: Do you have Superman-eyes that can spot 1px on the wrist? No, of course you don't. Then why are you concerned about something that may or may not be visible on a super imposed, zoomed in, ultra macro shot?
Also, have you ever seen a Rolex gen customer going to an AD or boutique with a microscope, rulers and macro photography equipment to QC their new watch before picking it up? That was a rhetorical question. So why do you think a rep that costs 3% of the gen price should be scrutinized a thousand times more than a gen watch (spoiler alert: high end gen watches have plenty of flaws and misalignments in the microscopic sphere as well).
So... Just don't overthink rep QC. It is intended to show that the TD picked the correct watch for you and there aren't any gross defects like a fallen off rotor or any rabbit turd sized dirt balls under the crystal or any other extreme issues, but not to scrutinize markers by 1px sized alignments. Don't overthink QC! Don't red-light a perfectly fine watch, because that increases TD prices for all of us. Just enjoy your rep! It's as Easy as that!
