Placed an original order for BR03-92 Horolum. However it was out of stock. Decided to go for this instead.

I don't believe you are permitted to post QC pics on the forum.
I am guessing that the datewheel is deeper than the gen, therefore will look more 'in the shade'. If that is the case, all of them will do it and you will either have to accept it as a flaw in that Rep model or change to another model, if the Dealer will let you do that (but bear in mind they may have had to go out and purchase this model for you to get the pics).
