Im seeing this in a lot of different forums not just for watches.I like these types of posts. Just created an account to complain. Didnt use a TD , didnt try to attempt to open the watch or get it fixed any other way and just throws it out. Quality shitpost
Mate you have been here less than 5 minutes and you are slagging off a well known TD here that I have had personal experience using. You have made no attempt to work out how this forum works, you just show up throw your weight around and you know nothing about the rep purchasing process obviously. Personally, Yes I am getting sick of you newbies coming on here and throwing around wild accusations without any substance and upsetting the status quo. Grow up and behave like a new member and act with a bit of respect and you will find your journey here rewarding, the alternative is to be a jerk and just piss people off.. your choice!

Like the vast majority of low to mid range quartz watches the case back is pressure fit.
Laughable that the watch was thrown away because someone didn't think of this.
Oh, and title changed. The only bad experience is when you realize you aren't very bright.
Don't you throw your car away when your battery goes bad ?

So that's why they stop working after a few years . . .
Many years ago I once threw away a watch that stopped working... it had a gen 2824eta in it... i regret this now almost daily!
