You'd think a pilot would buy a genuine GMT master. No wonder flights are never on time anymore.

They make more than enough and has a high chance of getting a GMT from the AD....
If you are flying paper planes though then yea... a fake watch it is
I wish that was the case... it's all about relationships. The watch guys in my company's pilot pool (biggest charter/fractional) are all on the same waitlists as I am, and these people make over a quarter of a million. One finally got the call over a Kermit, has been waiting for a GMT for three years.

3 years on a GMT…. I forgot that most ADs are abusive. A pilot got offered a dive watch… that’s kinda ominous
He was on the waitlist for the Kermit for just as long. He wanted both. He got pissed when he saw me wearing my Clean BLRO...

You’re based in Florida right? I know those ADs are scum there. Hyde park got bought by watchbox though, knowing the CEO I’d think they’ll be better at getting people watches.
Perhaps you can go there and see how it is next year spring?
