Hi guys, just got new QC pics for oyster bracelet. I have the feeling the cyclops or datewheel is way off centered. Also the s/d is 18,9, have the feeling this is really high.
I’m not asking to help with general QC because the rest is good in my opinion. Only cyclops/datewheel and s/d worries me. Please let me know what you think?

It is high indeed. Your choice if you want to reject, if the rest of the watch is good you can probably get that regulated

Puretime told me their watchsmit will fix it! Sides of middle links are also plated they said! I will get a video

Did anyone notice that gen and GMF both have a rolex logo at the 30 marker. I just notice that ARF had number 30 instead of rolex logo...

FFS are you ever going to buy this watch chap ! The gen you are looking at is a 2019 DJ ..Rolex changed the dial at Baselworld in 2018 . They placed a crown at the 6 o'clock ( 30 ) marker . The GMF reps this dial . The Arf has the older pre Basel World 2018 dial . If you look for a 2018 > dial it will have a '30' dial like your watch .

The DW/cyclops is typical Arf the DW numbers a little thick but OK , most people change the DW when they buy an Arf DJ . Some will change the crystal and the DW

Well although it was changed at Baselworld in 2018 if you had purchased a watch in that year you would have got the 30 dial . If go into a dealers today 2019 you will get a crown dial .

Why? I only changed the first jubilee model for a oyster because i didn’t realize the middle links were not plated from the side.
This time i only asked for a few more pictures because the cyclops or datewheel looked off. As soon as i get this pictures and it looks ok then i will accept.
Not sure what your problem is? Because you apparently super experienced in this rep watch game you thing you’re the man??

Thanks! The first watch QC the datewheel was better so that is why I was a little disappointed with this one. But you are right, this is something i can get changed. Been trying to contact eu-watchservice in the past but never got reply. Can you recommend a good watchsmit in Netherlands or surroundings?

I can't recommend a watchsmith in the Netherlands chap as i'm in UK and so have had no call to do that research . I'm not sure why you think XJ4sonx is claiming to be the man though ? He is just pointing out that your QC process is taking an extremely long time . Though to be fair his reply was a bit blunt . I have purchased three watches in the time this thread has been up , two from my TD and one in an M2M on another site it took me all of a few minutes to QC them all . One is wrapped up as a Christmas present the other two are already in my watch box . If you are waiting for a perfect DW from Arf you will be rejectng a lot of watches .

Though you have titled it ' purchase step by step guide ' ! This is just a 'help me QC my watch thread because i'm not sure thread ,that you have worded in a different way . So lets see you have made the choice about the bracelet ! The first watch with the Oyster bracelet ( date 20 ) and the second watch with Oyster bracelet ( date 28 ) look like different watches to me . I say this due the huge sel gap top left on the first watch ( 20 date ) which isn't present on the second ( date 28) .

Howvever the watch with the date 28 ( your latest QC) looks spot on to me in that one pic apart from the slightly thick text on the DW which is a known flaw on the ARF . This probably won't look as bad out of macro and a light box with the watch on your wrist . If the TD is happy to regulate the watch ( or if it is a different watch ) and put it back on the Timegrapher ( 14 sec+- is a bit high ) for a better result then i would say the job is a good one .

I 'm not trying to be rude but i think xj4sonx may be right , and you will be back on here complaining about the watch once you receive it .

Thanks for the clear explanation. I understand what you are saying and purchasing my first rep went really fast and easy. I wish i already had the watch in hand!
I agree with you on the sel gap but maybe it’s the angle.
Anyway, as soon as i get next reply from PT I will ask them to send it over. And maybe get the DW changed if it bothers me

The seconds per day issue is solved and watch is send. Happy that I asked to fix the s/d during QC because now it’s perfect!
