No one in the UK mate. Best thing you got is probably Domi in Germany which is more than OK since he's in the EU. Customs-wise that is

1/ The watch runs about 25 seconds fast per day, is this normal, can it be adjusted ?

Yes it is normal. Yes it can be adjusted.

2/ The Chrono works fine, however as the second hand ticks through about the 58 second mark it stutters and then jumps forward to catch up where it should be, is this normal ?

No.

3/ The chrono start button is stiff to start the chrono, but operation to stop it is fine, as is the reset, is this initial start button stiffness normal ?

Yes

4/ Setting the watch so as the second hand sweeps through 60 secs and the minute hand lines up with the minute markers is trial and error, having never owned a mechanical watch this may be normal, can anyone advise ?

You lost me on that one.

1/ Who/where can adjust the 'fastness' of the watch, is there someone in the UK who deals with 'asian' movements as not too keen to ship it back to china

2/ whoever does this i can assume look at the second hand 'jumping' also, yes ?

4/ When setting the time on the watch, i stop the watch when the second hand is on the sub-dial is at 0 seconds, then set the minute hand at the correct time before pushing in the crown at the correct moment. However, the second hand starts sweeping, but after the first sixty seconds and the suddial hand has done a full revolution the minute hand has not always moved on a full minute mark. So for example if i am trying to set 9-22, i end up trying to set the minute hand halfway between the 22 and 23 minute marks so when i push in the crown at 9-22 after 60 seconds and the second hand has moved a full minute, the minute hand has also lined up at 9-23. Its almost like there is some 'backlash' in the minute hand that has to be taken up.

Ok so with that info we can clearly define this as a gear train problem. The assembly consists of the Canon Pinion which holds the minute and hour wheels. When you start the watch running slippage is occurring on the minute wheel which results in a lag. Once it catches up the minute hand begins running..one minute later. You can deal with it one of two ways. Have it repaired. Or leave it alone. The second one may sound funny but I actually have a watch with this problem. When I start it up I just set it one minute fast and 60 seconds later it is bang on time. Been running it that way for over two years.

So is there a dealer/repairer in the UK who can fix my watch problems ?
