Hi guys!
I am, amatuer on this forum. Can you help me?
I bought UN blue surf 3 days ago and today I saw that my second hand sometimes stops:(
It will go when I shake my watch. Can someone tell me what can it be and how I can fix it?
Thanks!

I had the same issue with mine when I bought it in M2M sales a few years back. I took the back off and blew air around the balance and rest of the movement with one of those puffer blowers. Luckily for me that's all it took and it's been working fine since. Simple and at least worth a try.

It is stucking once per 2-3 minute between 10 and 20 seconds always, sometimes it is stucking every minute.
And this problem came only today... What could happened with the movement?
Tomorrow i will give them to watchsmith, i believe that he could help me

I think it requires servicing - at least oiling and cleaning.
These 23j movements will last a long time if properly serviced.

Cost varies between watchsmithes. Your decision to take it to watchsmith is correct.

I thought Blue Surfs are out of production - is it available again?

I noticed that when the clock lying on his right side, they are going well. And when they lie on their left side, they again stay between 10-20 seconds ...
What could be the problem? What do you think?

Today I was not going to watchsmith, because my watches are started to work.I don't know what it was, but now they are working perfectly for me.They go +5 seconds today. That was amazing, and I was shocked...

I recently bought the same watch from Toro Bravo, a TD. After a few weeks the pendulum (is that the right term) inside started to get stuck: it gets stuck in certain position and the only way to release it is to unscrew and pop the crown.

Question: has anybody experienced something like this? How do I handle it - look for a watchsmith or send the watch back (undesirable given the watch was fairly cheap, and the shipment is expensive). Of course if this is a manufacturing defect, I will have no choice but to send it back -- right now the watch is not "autowinding" at all.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but my blue surf's second hand has began to stop when off the wrist. It runs fine on the writ but will stick when laid down. it doesn't seem to matter what position. A little tap will start the seconds back up. I'm not interested in dealing with a watchsmith or sending for service; just wondering if the problem and solution have been nailed down so I might take a crack at it myself. thanks all

I bought several from Toro when he was cleaning out his supply. Have not had a problem with any of them. All run great, even the chronographs. I would be interested to hear what this common problem is.

I had the same problem, with added rotor noise from getting stuck. I got the rotor removed and the movement serviced, and it now runs great. And it's a manual, so the PR is useful :)
