The 2836 datewheel is 23.3mm based on the manufacturing sheet. Smaller than I thought. If below is the font you like, it resembles a narrow Helvetica font. It should be easy to find a free downloadable font version of something similar. Or you could resize datewheel in the picture below to match the 2824. Do you have photoshop?Reviving this old thread, I'm looking to create a custom ETA 2824 datewheel for a Nautilus 3800. That model has a gorgeous serif font datewheel that I can't find anywhere. The real datewheel has a 23mm diameter, just like the ETA one, but I'm almost certain I wouldn't be able to fit it onto a 2824.
Given that I don't have one of the original datewheels, only images, any suggestions on how to design a custom one?
This is the one I'm looking for, it's not for the 324 movement per se - I think the 3800 had a precursor to the 330SCThe 2836 datewheel is 23.3mm based on the manufacturing sheet. I think the closest font I can find to that date wheel is Urge Text SemiBold... give it a go - looks spot onThis is the one I'm looking for, it's not for the 324 movement per se - I think the 3800 had a precursor to the 330SC

New Standard looks great!! I've now seen that this build can be done with a 324 SC patek clone movement, which may facilitate the work. Thanks for your suggestions.Or 'New Standard' both would work I think
