Thinking aloud here.....
Everywhere that I have read regarding watch lubrication (except here) has advised against graphite and other traditional lubricants or products with lubricating properties found around the house or workshop. Graphite, WD40, etc all being specifically called out as temporary problem-solvers, which would ease friction temporarily, but damage movements and precision tolerance bearing surfaces in the long run through grinding debris, or gumming up after a period.
Has anyone given thought to or tried watch movement-specific lubricants such as the variety of silicone greases and other watch-specific oils?

Hoping to hear some feedback, as the dodgy nature of the seconds at 6 is the only thing keeping me from picking one up.
