Beat that maker !:lolcina:

If I could agree with the thoery of the mistake made on purpose for this depth issue, I cannot believe anyone misspelled the SWISS MADE willingly, it's as obvious and criminal as misspelling the brand.

They "just" need to change the caseback and strap, minor costs, however I really wonder if they will.

Or is it just a joke ? Maybe the actual one will be correct..?:nah:

I can understand how difficult it is to read latin scripture when you are not used to doing so.
I can understand that causes mistakes.
What I do not understand is why they do not have someone looking the watches over before production.

In a few instances proto or pre-proto types have been shown on the fora. And with that the factories got endless, high quality consultancy free of charge.

They would save so much money and get instant sales due to early advertising.

Why not make it a routine????

From the pictures I have seen they have only moded the O to resemble a D. It does not look good.

It looks awful, actually. And the strap mispelling is still there, the 120m is still there, the P,6780 still there...

That last pic looks funny, it looks as if the case was PVDed or DLCed, as it should be Ti.

It's Ti, but it comes in several flavours. TBH I have a preference for the PVD version

YOu know what is sad ?

I have just looked at some scam sites, where they have the cheap 21J version of it, and that version has got correct dial, including metallic indexes on the dial

But the main problem of this watch are the lugs... They must bend more, because then all the force and pressure is put on the plastic part of the band (another  putting plastic into rubber, and fixate it only with 4 rubber rings  ).

But if you are curious how the lugs look like, here are photos for you

possibility is when I would remove more steel from the lugs, to keep it to turn a little more, it is possible it would flip completely

s6303772.jpg

And this is plan B if everything will go to shits..

What you think about this combo ? :D

s6303773.jpg

As you can see that grey compound I used super glo to fixate it , because main problem is this

IMG_1226.jpg

And it is because of the lug par does not bend more... like on the gen

Do you have links to those cheaper but with correct dial watches? I liked the metal bracelet idea, but I think a thick leather strap would be nicer and easier to adapt to the lugs. I would also consider a wide ZULU strap (24mm maybe?).

Hey AstroAvia, that cheap porsche from scam site cost there around 360UDS+, what makes no sense paying that much to get just the dial from it. :)

But here is picture so you will all know what I am talking about

porsche-design-p-6780-diver-automatic-a.jpg

Do you see that crystal clear and nice dial ?!

Damn it, can't find now more of those scam sites with 21J movement Porsche. But picture above shows how good version of dial is out there.

And look fantasy Porsche Hublot U-Boat mixture model ! :D

Hi buddy PecMan, yes I am going to to them, just still waiting for my Tritec BG-W9 and the square indexes. I also will get spare rubber strap from Mary.

As for the lugs, I have found the flaw what makes them unable to bend more, and yesterday done first positive results, the thing is of thicknes of steel in one place, brushing it with my dremel I was able to repair one lug size, that bent only 1 mm to bent on 4-5 mm. The target is, that the lugs will bend more than 5mm (like 7/8mm). That should assure that the rubber bands will not flip open, as the pressure should be forwarded to the lugs.

I will post pictures, when I will have good results, hope you will like them my friend.

PecMan for now I am trying to fit PAM bracelet for it.

I had to dremel the endlink of the PAM bracelet , and remove the moving lug from Porsche to fit the watch.

THis is plan B before I will get spare rubber strap from Mary, so I can wear this watch :)

s6303773.jpg

TO drill bigger hole for this

s6303771.jpg

Too bad that I don't have option to do nice line cut, so there will be half circle in the endlink. It kinda also resembles the design of this Porsche, with asymmetrical holes , circles, and squares lol :D

Yesterday I was successful modifying one side of the bracelet. I will post tutorial also, for those, who might like the new look of the watch, and have spare new version of PAM bracelet lying around :)

Moded mine so the end of the strap bend more, as per gen:

On the wrist:

Now I can wear the watch, it feels almost normal.

Did you also glued the strap or without glueing the strap ?

If you remember that watch was Unregistered before and when he posted his review you could clearly see that the strap had the same problem as yours.
So I did glue it (gel type), but 2 of the little rubber things that are suppossed to hold the plastic part didn't go back in the holes they were suppose to, thus the 2 smalls bumps, on the center of the rubber band, barely visible on my picture or when you wear it.
