Excellent! Thank you for the find! Will definitely keep this in mind for when servicing mine

tried finding that part on ebay with no luck. Seems like a very rare part (given how i haven't seen any watches running ETA 2801/2801-2)

i think the setting lever jumper from an ETA 2840 (basically a 2824-2 but without the date complication and it is made into a lowbeat for Swatch watches exclusively) could work as well on a 2824-2

Beautiful watch! I'm learning more about the Tudors every day. Gotta get this bronze one, and the PAM bronzo. Cheers!

Very nice looking watch! I am holding out for a Steel and Gold rep, but this is tempting.

Which TD bud? I might have to test drive one of these...

Any recommendations on replacement straps? The one that came with the rep feels really cheap - after a month or two it has begun to crack. It doesn't bend like a nice strap.

I'm also wondering whether you can transfer the buckle. IIRC it's a 23mm strap and 22mm buckle?

i haven't tried anything else to the watch because i have already handed it to my friend. But I am pretty certain that the buckle can be removed by using a pin and poking the hole on the side of the clasp

strap choices are endless! But i am mainly a bracelet guy so I haven't tried nice straps yet. Perhaps this section could help https://forum.replica-watch.info/categories/trusted-strap-dealers.566/

me too. I love the blackbay S&G

there is an older two-tone one on trustytime (i think - if i recall correctly) that runs on 2813, but it doesn't look good at all

bronze cases are definitely quite unique and worth having (t least one) in your watchbox collection. I saw my friend yesterday and his Tudor has been patina-ed with an excellent look to it
