actually really like the watch, it looks very good for the amount of money it cost
thinking about modding it too
so please keep us posted on updates
Very nice!
Great job on the case work so far man. Just curious though, do you think the date font is a bit thick?
ahhhh, so this is what you were talking about! Great project!! Hope you'll receive my package soon! lol
LOL bro you are wild. Subscribing to this build, The devil is in the details and you are an Exorcist.
Thats a really nice gesture to your friend.
I always enjoy these type of projects.
Keep the photos and updates coming.
This is hardcore.. :worthy:
But I can't help but think, all this herculean effort to improve the case, what will you do for the dial and especially bezel insert since that screams fake the most?
pompompurin keeps surprising us with fun builds/mods! Love it bro!
What's in the package?

Cool project, what insert will you use?
What movement did you decide to go with? 2836?
Seeing your post has started me off on some light mods. Just finished oil bath and brushing of the bracelet. Also worked on the clasp to make it less sharp on the sides.
Eagerly waiting for the movement transplant.
I might not transplant another movement inside. It all depends on if i could source Noob ETA sub hands (i got OCD for hands) and the right dial
Step 7 - reshaping the clasp's thumb recess and brushing the bracelet
At the moment, I am still searching for a 116610 ETA dial that is 28-28.5mm wide. My priority is to find a dial that (1) has decent chromalight lume and (2) has chapter lines (minute/ second dashes) that extend all the way to the rehaut, like gen.

I spent last night reshaping the clasp's thumb recess and brushing the bracelet.
Before using a dremel and modifying the clasp's thumb recess, notice that the thumb recess area isn't quite like genuine that extends closer to the edge:
I barely have much experience with the dremel. Here is my first attempt at widening the thumb recess:
Final result (with clasp + bracelet brushing):
What about a BP dial?
Looks pretty good man, unfortunate you couldn’t find the dial you were looking for but the project as a whole is definitely a success! Let us know what your buddy thinks lol
