If you go for the PAM111, prepare for strong modding, as none is really good out of the box. Maybe a DSN.

I have a small preference for base models like the 112H. Maybe my next purchase might be a base Titanium Panerai.

For the Rolex, I'd go for the Two-tone.

#3 gets my vote.
I have a 111h, as i prefer sandwich dials.
After i bought it, it hasn't left my wrist for weeks.
Currently on vacation to have some lume done.

I admit, i've been bitten by the Panerai bug. 4 months ago i didn't know the brand, now i own 2 reps and have 2 more heading my way.

111h hands down. And if you ever get tired of it just buy a new strap and its like having a new watch again

This is SO TRUE.
I had my PAM 090 on bracelet and it didn't get much love, even after i sent my 111h out for modding. I was wearing my B&R01 instead. After i mounted my nice leather pilot strap to the 090 instead of the bracelet it feels so different and i really love to wear it.

When I started collecting watches a few years ago, I was a hardcore Rolex fan. I started buying reps again more recently and found myself gaining a serious fondness for Breitling's. Luckily for my bank account, I never really had any great love for Panerai's... And now, for some reason I came here this morning and looked at those three watches and thought; "You know, that Panerai really is a fine looking watch..."

DAMN YOU BEANY_BOT, DAMN YOUUUUUUUU!!!

[Opens checkbook, looks at balance, sighs, orders watches...]

I have the first watch on your list and I like it okay, but not as much as I thought I was going to. I also had a full gold Daytona rep a few years ago, and I will grant you that it wasn't the same quality rep we're buying here today, but in about five months the gold had started to get little black flecks on it. It became my first "take it apart and see how these things are put together" watch.

So, #3 got my (and it looks like veryone else's) vote.

It would have been a tight race for me if there was no gold on those GMTs. But as long as you have those two particular Rollies in this race, there's only one clear winner, and that's the PAM. Man, I bought mine in January and sent it to Rocketeer for a relume almost immediately. He still has it. I never had a chance to wear it. Pathetic. Maybe I should just order a new one. After all, that's what I did when he kept the GMT IIc for months and I started experiencing withdrawal symptoms!
